i'm doing better...i really am....

today we were in starbucks...mary was having her coffee ground...
and me...well...
i was waiting for my hot chocolate and pumpkin muffin...
so anyway..
i'm standing in line...
of course...
minding my own business..
there was this lady in line behind me...
she was wearing black felt pants...
they were covered with what looked like animal fur...
so she starts talking to the lady in line behind her...
and she says..
i have 8 cats...
the first thing that comes to my mind to say..
is...
"wow, you'll probably never run out of chinese food"...
but..
like i said...
i'm doing better so i never said a word..
where in the past
i would have automatically just blurted the words out...

when i told mary about it..
she indicated it was an inapproriate thought...
and while it probably was...and is..
it did make me laugh...

todays music..
snow patrol....crack the shutters...
