last night we watched the larimer county fair parade...
i absolutely love watching small town parades..
last nights was no disappointment..
there were old men on lawn mowers that looked like tractors...
there were floats with bales of hay...that made no sense...
there were people square dancing....
there was a float representing a funeral parlor...
there was abolutely nothing complicated..
it was all very simple...
marching bands...
candy being thrown..
policemen..
firemen..
paramedics...
street sweepers...
but my all time favorite entry in the parade was...
a man walking in the parade carrying a small goat...
i'm not sure what he represented...
so...since i had no idea what he represented....
i decided that ...
this man probably entered the parade thinking he'd show off his new goat..
but then after a few blocks..
the goat got tired...
so he had to carry it...
i hope this man learned a lesson...
next time he'll plan ahead..
and get his goat a wagon or something to ride in...
oh and i was truly upset i forgot the camera...
no music tonight...
just the sound of mary playing the wii...
but if you insist on having music..
i suggest you humm a marching band song...
like "76 trombones"....
or "we will rock you"...
that is all...
we now return you to your regularly scheduled program.....
